We will still have our non-denominational Christian get together and outreach campout at Kootenay Stone Centre. 4 miles south of Salmo B.C. Canada on Hwy.# 3 Mertin Road...
......but this year we will also join with Salmo in welcoming everyone to the big SALMO HOMECOMING. So we have rented the Gym ~ multi purpose room etc. at the new Salmo Valley Youth-Community Centre (The old high school) in Salmo to welcome and bless the coming home people back to Salmo and also to help raise much needed funds for the new youth-community centre....

at Kootenay Stone Centre .....young and old " NO CHARGE....Bring camping gear, musical instruments, fun stuff and some food, just in case we run out, and stay the weekend. Free
food until we run out. We have water and outhouses but no power hookups. Come and enjoy Christian fellowship, entertainment, fun and games ~ in Salmo and here. You are welcome to participate (open mike) by sharing your testimony, Christian songs, music, poems, skits, plays, or Christian products, artwork, handicrafts etc. at
Kootenay Stone Centre or the Youth-Community Centre in Salmo Sat. and Sun. Please contact us for scheduling, etc.

Abe (Marge) Zacharias ~ A-Z Music Ministry – Country- Gospel Singer and Songwriter from Salmon Arm B.C.
Abe has performed on the stage at the ‘Grand Ole Opry’ in Nashville Tn. and many other places, and has won many awards. He has also done many tapes and CD’s of the beautiful songs he has written. Their Cd’s and tapes will be available. Recently Abe started a new group called ‘Sons of the Sage’ consisting of himself, Gerry Pelland and Duane Stewart.

by a huge, mean bear. In his fear, all his shots were wide of the
mark. Finally he turned and ran as fast as he could.He ran and ran and eventually wound up at the edge of a very steep precipice. His hopes were fading fast.Seeing no way out of his predicament, the bear closing in at
a rapid pace, he fell to his knees and prayed, "Oh God, PLEASE give this bear some religion!"The clouds darkened and lightning split the sky. Just a few feet
short of the hunter, the bear come to an abrupt stop, and glanced
around somewhat confused. Suddenly the bear looked up in to the sky and said, "Thank you God, for the food I am about to receive. Amen."

His wife was on a business trip and was planning to meet him there the next day. When he reached his hotel, he decided to send his wife a quick e-mail.Unable to find the scrap of paper on which he had written her e-mail address, he did his best to type it in from memory. Unfortunately, he missed one letter and his note was directed instead to an elderly preacher's wife, whose husband had passed away only the day before. When the grieving widow checked her e-mail, she took one look at the monitor, let out a piercing scream, and fell to the floor in a dead faint. Hearing the scream, her family rushed into the room and saw this note on the screen:"Dearest Wife,Just got checked in. Everything prepared for your arrival tomorrow. P.S. Sure is hot down here!" |
