| Module #5: Chateau Whistler Style and Simple Arches

| In this course students learn to do projects using what we call Chateau Whistler style stonework. (tight stacked bars of dry-pac stone (with no mortar showing) jumpers (thick slabs of stone with the face showing) placed here and there to create a totally unique style. Though the stone is mortared in and actually becomes a structural member you only see the stone....not the mortar. You can use this style on new construction...or remodel an old existing building to look like a mansion. You will also learn how to do simple stone arches that add such class to stone projects.
Be sure to bring your hiking shoes, fishing rod, golf clubs and camera to enjoy the beautiful Kootenays in your free time. The cost of this course is $750. At this time only men’s accommodations are available at our training school in Salmo B.C. 1 week accommodation $75 -shared two bed room or $150 - private room.
